PALMISTRY: The query of the floating headline

QUERY: " Am I missing a part of my headline? I don't understand. Some say it's a variant of a simian line, others say it's a long heart line. I am also highly sensitive."

ANSWER: I can see that you could be sensitive- preferably, I’d rather say passionate. The heartline you have going across connects the mars points- adding intensity.

On either side of your hand there is a point of Mars. Under the pinky is positive mars, above the thumb is negative mars. On their own, they gauge the level of intensity given to different qualities of your character. Think of them as batteries.

Any line that connects them, gets super charged and HIGHLIGHTED. You feel strongly. You feel deeply. You may feel overwhelmed by the depth of your own emotions at times.

In love language, this may become A WALL. Many people I’ve met with this line tend to have a “all or nothing” approach to their relationships. They are either deeply committed to keeping themselves safe or deeply committed to giving themselves to their partner.

In addition to this, you have a secondary heart line called a Girdle of Venus. It is the swoopy line starting between your pointer and middle finger that goes to between your pinky and ring finger.

I consider the Girdle a sign of emotional intelligence: because it acts as a form of self control. I’ve also nicknamed it THE DAM because it represents you actively repressing emotional expressions in order to maintain control. (Keep in mind that dams eventually break when they aren’t given some sort of outlet).

This is also an empathic line- and you have another line to back that up: you have a RING OF SOLOMON under your pointer finger. The pointer finger is traditionally the attributes of one’s leadership. In this, you have a naturally refined GUT INSTINCT. This also means you feel a sense of knowing from within the body without intellectual explanation. Being empathically aware would align with this.

So, YOUR GIRDLE actually has an additional connection line to the Mercury finger. Mercury represents communication but also indicates what may be going on with our “third eye” of intuition. Any lines crossing the mount of Mercury indicates an obstruction. Noting that the branch is directly coming off your Girdle, would make me believe you are intentionally dampening your own “receptors”. Which is ok, if you desire it. Typically, people do this to make life more bearable. I just wanted to note it as a form of self control.

As for the Headline you actually asked about😅 It is called a “floating headline”.

It is more than being Independent, it is being markedly unique in your perspective of the world- and being willing to living in a way others might call dangerous, reckless, or carefree. It does not mean you ARE these things, but that you defy the traditional sense of NORMALITY to others in a way that may unnerve them.

You have the intellectual capacity and will to carve your own path in this world.
